Nanou's painting takes its essence from years of Fine Art implemented by her interest in the dynamic found in Eastern calligraphic aesthetics.

She combines traditional mineral pigments with industrial materials to create contemporary compositions on clear surfaces, canvas, and paper. Her Abstracts seek spatial outflow, entice movement and depth, and create interactions amongst the fore, middle, and background.
